In 1938, Trude Petri created URANIA, a new dinner service based on clear lines. The shapes of the recepticals are cylindrical and conical. Sigmund Schütz designed relief medallions with Arcadian themes for this service. The relief decoration of wildflowers designed by Gerhard Gollwitzer constituted a further variation. KPM first produced the form created by Trude Petri in 1938 without relief decoration in 1987. The elegance of the simple forms is expressed in inimitable clarity.
